Nissans Next Innovation-- The e-Pedal

Nissan will be introducing a revolutionary innovation with the release of the 2018 Leaf that will change driving forever, and in a good way. Similar to the regenerative breaking in the Tesla Model 3 and BMW i3, Nissan has introduced a new Leaf with an e-Pedal accelerator. The e-Pedal is the very first one pedal innovation that can cover up to 90% of the drivers’ needs.

Fear not, there will still be a regular brake pedal for harder braking or emergency situations. To use it, you press the e-Pedal button, ease off the accelerator to reduce speed, release the pedal to stop and press the pedal for full acceleration. The e-Pedal can bring the car to a complete stop even on hills, then resume driving instantly.

This development and its mechanisms may sound intimidating, but we are assured that this will be a more fun and simple way to drive. Nissan Leafs e-Pedal will be especially beneficial during city driving and situations where there is heavy traffic. During these conditions drivers have to constantly shift from one pedal to the other, and the e-Pedal will eliminate this need.

The new feature is one of a couple of driver-focused systems planned for the new 2018 Leaf. The automaker also announced that the electric car will feature Pro Pilot Assist-- a driver assistance system that automatically controls acceleration, braking and steering on single-lane highways. It will also be equipped with a fully autonomous parking feature.

The e-Pedal is a monumental milestone for Nissan, not only in the way they build cars, or even in the way they influence the market, but predominantly in the way the influence their customers’ lifestyles. Nissan continues to bring driver assistance technologies into their lineup, and therefore continues to solidify position amongst the best of the best. You can check out our inventory or sign up for updates-- here at our site. We’re all eager to get our hands on this exciting innovation, so stay tuned for news and updates from us related to the 2018 Nissan Leaf!

Ka- PAO!

The Nissan Pao is a three-door, five seater hatchback that was produced from 1989-1991. The Pao was a catalyst of the retro fad in Japan. Although made in the late 80’s, the design for the Pao was greatly inspired ‘50s French design. Nissan created this unique gem in limited quantities, only in Japan, as the Pao was meant to enhance the younger generations image of Nissan. It worked too, and the Pao actually ignited a retro fad that went on for years in Japan.

Outside there's plenty of vintage design elements to love—from the exposed hinges to its cute fascia  and retractable soft top roof—and that's much the same story inside as well.

The Nissan Pao is a four-cylinder engine, which puts the Pao at 34 mpg paired to an automatic 6.9 L,    and   44 mpg with the 5.4 manual version.  provided 51 horsepower from the factory. Admittedly,         that's not a  lot, however these cars were quite light on their feet and weighed only 1,670 pounds (not quite "kei car"  small, though). A three-speed automatic transmission came standard, but a five-speed manual was optional.

As mentioned before, Pao production was limited- only 10,000 units were made. Exclusivity has its own appeal, after all, and the Pao was primarily a marketing tool for Nissan anyways.
Interested customers had to submit a reservation between the dates on January 15th and April 14th in 1989. Orders were delivered in accordance with the order placing. The new fashion icon sold out in just 3 months back then, and is now being fervently sought after in the modern JDM community.

If the Pao has likewise stolen your heart, you may actually be able to track one down through a Japanese exporter. They don’t last long on the market however, so I’d be safe rather than sorry and buy the first one you find.

The Pao is currently being sold between $3-5k. If you want my opinion- that is deplorably low!

Love me!

The Midnight Edition

Around this time last year, the Nissan Maxima was given a limited time ‘Midnight Edition’ package that extended the appeal of a fresh black paint job with prominent black accents, black highlights, and an overall aura of darkness on top of the added amenities. Customers were quickly enamored by the dark temptations of the 'Midnight Edition', and Nissan dealers were getting bundles of midnight requests for other top Nissan Models as well.

Nissan has responded to the numerous ‘Midnight Edition’ requests by wrapping the darkness around all of their top selling vehicles. This includes the Sentra SR, the Altima SR, the Maxima SR, the Rogue, the Murano, and the Pathfinder. Each vehicle is given a unique set of amenities, accents and prices. This is an example how the features are distributed-

The Sentra will have the 'Midnight Edition' option available for the SR and 2.5 SR models and will feature the exclusive black 'Midnight Edition' 17” alloy wheels, black mirror caps, a black rear spoiler and the signature embroidered floor mats. This is valued at $990, but can be added for only $490.

The Altima will have the 'Midnight Edition' option available for the SR and SR Turbo models and will feature the exclusive black 'Midnight Edition' 18” alloy wheels, black  mirror caps, a black rear spoiler, signature embroidered floor mats, signature LED Daytime Running Lights and Remote Start and Stop System with Intelligent Climate Control. The package is a total value of $2290 but can be added for only $990.

The 'Midnight Edition' package will be available on the Murano Platinum trim level and will include black 20” 'Midnight Edition' aluminum-alloy wheels, black roof rails, black mirror caps, black splash guards and the exclusive embroidered floor mats. This totals to a value of $1895 but can be added for just $1195.

You can get a great deal on this package for any model, and we have plenty of options here in our inventory. 2017 Nissan Titan

The Titan is Nissans new smaller pickup truck with unbeatable towing power and the best standard warranty in the truck market. The design and layout of the Titan may seem outdated in comparison to its main competitors, but standards on truck styling have begun to evolve way beyond status quo. Most truck shoppers are inherently looking for utility and reliability over sporty performance and luxurious materials; hence the forthright and concise styling of the Titan seems more than apt.

The Titans best traits are its powerful and quiet ride- boasting a potent 5.6 L V8 that produces 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft or torque. This power-house unexpectedly smooth silence can be attributed to Nissans new hydraulic body mount, better engine isolation, and laminated front and side glass. At the drivers seat youll find the console is suitable arranged to help free up interior storage. The Navigation system is placed higher, leaving more dashboard space for additional controls, and the shifter is now mounted on the steering wheel. Additional, lockable storage and a flat load-bearing floor come to fruit with the rear seats folded down.

With great power, comes great towing. The Titan can tow more weight than any other truck on the market- carrying up to 9,000 lbs. The Titan is available with a built in gooseneck tow hitch structure that allows receiver to gooseneck conversion in under three minutes. The setup is easy and convenient and the hitch can be removed and stowed quickly. This is a great benefit for haulers as the gooseneck hitch dramatically reduces trailer sway and also improves maneuverability.

Another great feature for heavy duty truckers is the utility-track system for the bed. It works very well for securing cargo, complete with movable cleats for tie-downs. The tailgate is damped and lowers easily rather than slamming down with a thud. It closes easily with one hand, thanks to a strut hidden behind the right-rear taillight assembly. The Titans bed is illuminated with low mounted lights, for quick and easy bed content surveillance even when a cover is installed.

Nissan has bestowed an impressive 5-year/100,000 bumper-to-bumper warranty onto the 2017 Titan that beats out standard competition by two years and 64,000 miles. There isn’t a truck on the market that can beat the Titans warranty, or its abundant towing capacity. Check out our Titan inventory or schedule your test drive with us at our site!

The Voluptuous Nissan Juke

Theres nothing out there even remotely similar to the Nissan Juke, and more often than not, the appeal of its wayward body comes directly from its novelty. Aero-dynamicity is provided by strategically placed wells and curves that lend the Juke its interesting shape. The Juke is not only the most unique crossover on the market, but is by far the most voluptuous. Another appealing new trait of the Jukes style would be the hidden rear door handles that seamlessly blend into the side. The tucked away handles give a nicely compact coupe-like appearance without compromising any of the space or capability of a 4-door.

The interior evokes unexpected sportiness with bolstered bucket seats and a sport motorcycle inspired center console. The gauge design was likewise adapted from motorsport styling, possessing the simplicity and utility of an Italian sports bike.  Standard features on the 2017 Juke include an AM/FM/CD with auxiliary input, Bluetooth, Intelligent Key with push-button start, a backup camera, a split-folding 60/40 rear seat, and NissanConnect with Mobile Apps and a text message assistant.

The Juke is acclaimed not only for its playful design but for its enjoyable drive as well. The robust 1.6 L turbocharged engine makes 188 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. The 2017 Juke offers Intelligent All Wheel Drive for improved traction in inclement weather and precise cornering thanks to improved grip. For even more fun, all Jukes come with an ‘S’ mode that serves as a virtual gear shifting simulator. Standard Jukes get 6 gears, Nismos have 7 and the Juke RS has 8. The Nismo in particular has been coined as the Jukes ‘evil twin’ by Nissan, due to its wicked sport tuned suspension and super tight handling.

Nissan isn’t one to fall short on safety, and that’s evident across the lineup. The Juke comes standard with Tire Pressure Monitoring, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Anti-lock Braking, Electronic Brake force Distribution, and much more.

Jukes are becoming more and more popular, and you can expect to keep seeing them pop up on your radar. Priced at a feasible 21,200 and featuring spry power and a quirky design, the Juke offers a lot of appeal for the market right now. Schedule your test drive with us here or simply ask to receive updates/information about the upcoming Nissan Juke.

2017 Nissan Armada

The Nissan Armadas square cut body style is reminiscent of a good portion of the higher end luxury SUVs currently in the market. The Armada favors sharp lines that flow evenly from front to back, creating hard edges and a wholly aggressive stance. The side window line is the sole exception of the geometric design, curving upwards and pointing outwards to the rear, which nicely creates a fluid sense of motion and relaxes the overall look just a bit.

That upscale look extends to the interior, where the Armada features more substantial soft-touch materials and bolder accents than in the past. The design is fairly simple, with an 8.0-inch touchscreen on the center stack and a flight of buttons and controls below it. The Armada seats eight, though optional second-row bucket seats reduce seating capacity to seven. Reclining second-row seats are standard, and they tip forward for easier access to the third row. You’ll immediately notice the spacious second-row seats, which have best-in-class head- and legroom. That means great things for adult passengers, but it should also make things easier on parents trying to install a child’s car seat. The second-row seats also feature LATCH connectors, letting you secure compatible car seats without using the seat belt.

The standard SV trim comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, a full-size spare, automatic LED headlights (low-beam only), roof rails, side steps, rear privacy glass, keyless ignition and entry, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated six-way power front seats (with two-way power driver lumbar), a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a reclining second-row bench split seat and a 60/40-split third-row seat. Standard technology features include Bluetooth connectivity, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, a navigation system, and a 13-speaker Bose audio system with a CD player, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and a USB media player interface.

The 2017 Nissan Armada is powered by a 5.6 L V8 engine with an output of 390 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven speed automatic transmission. A limited-slip differential, hill start assist and a tow mode are all standard, and the Armada is capable of towing a whopping 8,500 lbs when properly equipped- as high as any other SUV currently on the market.

Standard safety features includes antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, and a rearview camera. A blind-spot monitoring system, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking for both frontal and rear collisions are optional on the SL and standard on the Platinum.

Nissan X-Trail 4Dogs

Dogs are now an integral part of many families, and this requires adjusting their everyday lives accordingly. Nissan has designed a concept especially for these families in order to make traveling easier as well as a more comfortable and safe experience for their precious cargo.

The Nissan X-Trail 4Dogs is a concept following a survey of over 1300 dog owners conducted by a renowned dog health and welfare organization called The Kennel Club. The features in the X-Trail have been thoughtfully developed to enable convenient, hassle free travel for the whole family.

"It's clear from the research that for dog owners, dogs are a key part of the family. Ensuring their pet's needs are catered for is often just as important as making sure the children are comfortable and happy. The Nissan X-Trail is a car that's built for family adventures, and the X-Trail 4Dogs concept takes that to the next level." –Ryan Gains, chief marketing manager for the X-Trail

All things required to ensure clean and comfortable travels have been considered in the X-Trails design. It features a 360 degree pull-out shower paired with a hair dryer for thorough cleaning. The rear compartment is equipped with a pull out utility drawer for stowing the shower attachments, as well as side compartments for storing other accessories like treats and leads.

Doggie amenities in the rear space include lavish bedding, an ingenious no-spill water bowl, and a nifty smart dog treat dispenser. Once the dogs have settled into their plush bedding, simply attach their leads to the clip-on harness hook for safe travels. The bedding, water bowl and treat dispenser are all easily removed to create a usable space upholstered in premium wipe clean leather for effortless dirt and hair removal.

Possibly the best feature of all is the innovative ‘dog-cam’ technology. It has been ingeniously integrated into the X-Trail's Nissan Connect infotainment system, allowing owner and dog to see each other via the seven-inch dashboard display and a new 10-inch LCD screen installed into the dog space. Owners can even talk to their dogs via an audio link to keep them calm.

If your dogs are an integral part of your family, than you surely consider them in all of the twists and turns you take on lifes’ path. The next time you’re in the market for an all-inclusive family vehicle, Nissan has gone above and beyond to meet the criteria to make the X-Trail your perfect choice. If you’d like more information or updates on the X-Trail, we will happily oblige you here- at our site!

2017 Nissan Maxima

The new Maximas exterior and interior designs easily rival luxury brand sedans. Just above the sleekly slanted headlights, the hood gradually rises and falls to create a voluminous curve that wraps around the body. Premium Ascot Leather Appointed Seats embellished with Diamond-Quilted Alacantara Inserts would normally only be seen in a high-end performance cars, but they suit the Maxima very well and ooze extravagance. The center console and dash have been slightly rotated to resemble the cockpit of a fighter jet, including a subtle glow of ambient light like that of the gauges in an aircraft. This also enables easier access to the controls while driving, significantly adding to the overall comfort and safety. The savvy remote engine start system with intelligent climate control enables you to use a compatible smart phone to start up and adjust the temperature before you get in.

Standard tech in the Maxima include an 8 inch touchscreen display, a navigation system, a rear-view camera, Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay, two USB ports, and an eight speaker sound system with satellite and HD radio. In government crash tests, last year's Maxima earned an overall score of five stars, with five stars for total front-impact safety and five stars for total side-impact safety. The Maxima also earned top scores from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

The 2017 Maxima is powered by a 3.5 L V6 engine that generates 300 hp and 261 lb-ft of torque. The Maxima comes standard with a continuously variable automatic transmission. If you’re looking for a bit more kick, shift the Drive Mode selector into sport and enjoy sharper throttle response, heightened steering resistance, quick shifting, and a satisfying engine roar.

The 2017 Nissan Maxima doesn’t follow in the footsteps of it’s competitors. It veers off into its own dimension of a car with real sportiness, palpable luxury, and excellent value. This is definitely a one of a kind car. If you’re ready for a test drive or would like more information, we’d happily oblige you- right here.

Titan Pro-4X

Americans love their trucks. In fact, during the first 9 months of 2016, one out of every eight vehicles sold in the US were large pickup trucks. The best-selling truck in American is the Ford F-150, last year the F-150 out sold the best-selling car, the Toyota Camry 2-1. Every manufacturer sees that trucks are a huge market and they all want to get a piece of the pie, and Nissan is no different, that’s why they released the specialty 2017 Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4x4 Crew Cab.

While it is true that Nissan has sold truck for 50 years and has made them in Mississippi since 2003, the full since Titan has been merely an afterthought until the second-generation model made its debut in the beginning of 2015. The Titan heavy-duty XD was the first on showroom floors, followed by a half-ton crew-cab version powered by a 5.6-liter gas V-8. Nissan has now been boosting their Titan lineup with single and extended varieties, and they are equipping them with 5.5, 6.5, and 8.0 foot beds. And Nissan plans to release a V-6 option here in the near future. It is clear that Nissan is here to play in the game.

Nissan is so serious about their truck lineup that they are offering the Titan in seven different trim levels to answer the demand of all of their consumers. The different levels are Titan-Single Cab; S and SV, and Titan-Crew Cab; S, SV, PRO-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve. The Titan Pro-4X 4x4 Crew Cab is Nissan’s middle-child, but this one isn’t forgotten. As the name implies, the Pro-4X, has part-time four-wheel drive, which comes standard along with all-terrain tires, 18-by-8-inch aluminum wheels, Bilstein dampers, a locking rear differential, hill-descent control, and a steel skid plate protecting the radiator and the oil sump.

Nissan’s DOHC V-8 is a thing of mechanical beauty with four-valve combustion chambers, variable intake-valve timing and lift, and direct fuel injection. Power and torque peaks are both relatively high, but there was ample low-end muscle to yank a 6000-pound trailer smartly up to highway-merging speed. The Pro-4X cabin is a large and luxurious enclave for five occupants that offers supportive seats, easy access, and surprising versatility, especially in back. The split rear cushions can be raised to convert passenger perches into a level load space. Lockable cubbies beneath the molded-plastic cargo platforms are another handy touch. In front, a 7.0-inch touchscreen serves as the infotainment command center. It’s equipped with voice-recognition navigation, hands-free text messaging, Siri Eyes Free, Bluetooth, and a bird’s-eye-view backup camera.

The 2017 Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4x4 Crew Cab is now available for you to drive off in, fully customizable and starting at just over $42,000. Take a look at our inventory and contact us now to get yours today!
