In the culture of Americans loving
their SUVs, Nissan has added to their lineup another SUV. Introduced at the North
American International Auto Show, Nissan unveiled Rogue Sport. Following in the
footsteps on its big brother the Rogue, the Rogue Sport is expected to generate
huge sales for Nissan.
The Nissan Rogue Sport, is Nissans attempt
to take a chuck of the small compact SUV market. Due to its smaller size, the Rogue Sport is
the perfect vehicle single individuals, couples without kids or even empty
nesters. Featuring a 2.3-inch shorter
wheelbase and a 12.1-inch shorter overall length than the full-size model, the
Sport favors agility over volume. It’s also almost 5.5 inches shorter than the
regular Rogue, has 2 inches less front row headroom, and cuts 4.5 inches of
legroom and 5.2 inches of hip space from the second row.
The Rogue Sport is packed full of
features to help you with your city adventures and once the second row of seats
is folded down, the Rogue Sport has over 61 cubic feet of cargo space. The
Rogue Sport doesn’t hold back when it comes to safety features either, it can
be outfitted with Nissan’s Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. Tack
on the optional Nissan Intelligent Safety Shield technology suite and buyers

Intelligent Cruise Control and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

offered with one powertrain combination, a 141 horsepower 2.0-liter direct
injected four-cylinder engine with an Xtronic transmission to generate 147
pound-feet of torque. The Rogue Sport will
get three different models, the S, SV and SL models, and will have a wide
selection of packages available Appearance, All-Weather, Premium, and Platinum
packages give you a variety of options like power moonroofs, 19-inch alloy wheels, and
