Nissan Pathfinder: Named One of the "Best Family Cars"

For two years in a row, the 2015 Nissan Pathfinder was awarded one of the “Best Family Cars” by Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com. The editors recently selected the Pathfinder to the list for several key features including its spaciousness, refinement and handling, and easy access.

Kelley Blue Book’s annual Best Family Cars list was created to detail how well America’s top family vehicles can withstand their daily routine. This year, the editors at KBB.com rigorously tested 23 of the “latest and greatest vehicles” to determine the 15 Best Family Cars. The 2015 Pathfinder was only one of two midsize SUVs to make the list.

“Completely redesigned just two years ago, 2015 Pathfinder retains its core values of fun, utility and fresh style while also adding a number of exciting enhancements beneficial for the whole family,” said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations. “With plenty of cargo space and interior room, and a smooth ride with solid handling, the 2015 Pathfinder is a classic ‘family-first’ vehicle, and we’re elated to once again be included among Kelley Blue Book’s Best Family Cars.”

2014 Nissan Pathfinder: Top Ten

In 2014, the Nissan Pathfinder entered the year refreshed, redesigned and ready for action. When it comes to the world of crossovers, this is one spacious mid-size utility vehicle. With three rows of seating, it boasts plenty of room for stuff. Whether heading off on a road trip, vacation, or being the workhorse for getting around town, this is the one to get it done. It has more interior space than the competitors -- something to keep in mind when out shopping for your next ride.

The sleek exterior discretely camouflages the size of the Pathfinder, shrinking it down. But the height becomes apparent the closer you get. And the same familiar Nissan design profile flows to the rest of the vehicle. A bold chrome grille, heavy sculpted front fenders, accents on the rear fenders. The effect is fluid and stunning.

Handling and cornering and much smoother, more of a car-like feel. It allows for a smoother, more comfortable ride. And Nissan made sure no detail was overlooked when it came to passenger comfort including suspension, muffling road noise, and hydraulic-electric steering...

The 2015 Nissan Murano: Bold Design

The concept-car like design of the 2015 Nissan Murano has been causing quite a stir amongst the critics. So has the distinct burnt orange color. Either you're going to love it or you're going to hate it. And we're pretty sure that's what Nissan is going for. Never one to shy away from bold, innovative design, the 2015 Murano is a stand out. And its solid handling and features make up a stunning vehicle and have pushed it to the top of the critics' lists.

In keeping with Nissan's design profile, the Murano sports an athletic look. Almost futuristic. Boomerang shaped lights, sculpted sides and rear, floating roof and V-shaped radiator grille.

And Nissan keeps things upscale by using high-quality materials in the interior. All five passengers are able to enjoy the "NASA-inspired Zero Gravity seats", riding in comfort. The acoustic laminated glass and sound deadening engineering keep road noise and other outside interference at a minimum. The upgraded infotainment system syncs to your smartphone. And the Murano features smart safety technologies such as emergency braking and a radar-based frontal-crash warning system...
